INGREDIENTS:
- 1 round (8oz.) Brie Cheese
- 1 cup Fresh Cranberries
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 cup Orange Juice
- 1 teaspoon Orange Zest
- 1 Tablespoon Chopped Fresh Rosemary (or thyme)
- 1 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 Baguette, sliced or assorted crackers
- Walnuts, pecans or rosemary sprigs, for garnish (optional)
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175º).
Step 2
Place the Brie cheese on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until soft and gooey.
Step 3
While the cheese is baking, prepare the cranberry sauce. In a saucepan, combine fresh cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and orange zest.
Step 4
Cook on medium heat until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 10 minutes. Stir in chopped rosemary and balsamic vinegar, then remove from heat.
Step 5
Once the Brie is melted, carefully transfer it to a serving platter. Spoon the warm cranberry sauce generously over the top.
Step 6
Garnish with chopped nuts if desired. Serve immediately with sliced baguette or crackers for dipping.
