About this Recipe
Indulge in this decadent chocolate avocado mousse without the guilt. Rich, silky smooth and oh so delicious, this healthy recipe will definitely surprise you!
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 ripe Avocados
- 2 ripe Bananas
- 4 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 4 Tablespoons Honey
- 2 Tablespoons Almond Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- A pinch of Salt
- Optional garnish: Grated Coconut, Fresh Berries or Shaved Chocolate
Step 1
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a blender or food processor.
Step 2
Peel the bananas and add them to the blender with the avocados.
Step 3
Add cocoa powder, honey, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the blender.
Step 4
Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy , scraping down the sides if necessary to ensure everything is well combined.
Step 5
Taste and adjust sweetness or cocoa intensity to your preference by adding more honey or cocoa powder.
Step 6
Transfer the mousse mixture into individual dessert glasses or bowls.
Step 7
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the mousse to set and chill.
STEP 8
Before serving, you can garnish with shaved dark chocolate or fresh fruit slices, if desired.
STEP 9
Serve chilled and enjoy!
NOTE
This mousse can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
