About this Recipe
Easy, quick, and oh so delicious, these authentic beef tacos wil turn an ordinary dinner, into extraordinary! Top with onion, cilantro + fresh lime juice!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1.5 lbs. Beef Flat Meat, thinly sliced or cubed
- 1 cup Fresh Cilantro, roughly chopped
- 2 Limes, juiced
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- 2 Tablespoons Olive OIl
- 1 Red Onion, thinly sliced
- 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 8-12 Small Corn Tortillas
- Optional Toppings: Diced Avocado, Salsa, Sour Cream, Shredded Cheese
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, combine the beef flat meat, cilantro, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well, ensuring each slice of beef is coated. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes.
Step 2
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef along with any excess marinate. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the beef is cooked through, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Push the beef to one side of the skillet, and add the sliced red onion and minced garlic to the other side. Sauté for 3-5 minutes or until the onions are cooked and slightly caramelized.
Step 4
Warm the corn tortillas in a separate dry skillet or on a griddle over medium heat until slightly golden and pliable. Keep warm in a clean kitchen towel or tortilla warmer.
Step 5
Serve the Cilantro Lime Beef on warm tortillas, allowing guests to add their desired toppings. Garnish with additional fresh cilantro and Pico de Gallo if desired.
