About this Recipe
Healthy, flavorful and made in under 30 minutes, this Honey Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry is coated with a sweet and mildly spicy honey garlic sauce, fresh vegeables and perfect to serve over rice or noodles.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 pounds Large Shirmp, peeled and deveined
- 6 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 medium Red Bell Pepper, sliced
- 1 cup Fresh Broccoli, sliced in half
- 1/4 cup Green Onions, chopped
- Cooked Rice or Noodles, for serving
Step 1
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
Step 2
In a large skillet or wok, heat some oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 3
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp from skillet and set aside.
Step 4
In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and broccoli. Stir-fry for 2-4 minutes until they start to become tender.
Step 5
Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Step 6
Sprinkle the chopped green onions over the stir fry and remove from heat.
Step 7
Serve the Honey Garlic Stir Fry mixture over the cooked rice or noodles and … ENJOY!
