Looking for a cool and delicious way to beat the heat?  This Silky Fresh Cantaloupe Smoothie is the ultimate summer refreshment!

Made with juicy, sun-ripened cantaloupe, creamy yogurt, and just a touch of honey, this smoothie blends into a perfectly smooth and naturally sweet treat.

It’s light, hydrating, and packed with vitamins, perfect for breakfast, a post-workout boost, or a healthy afternoon snack.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups Fresh Cantaloupe, cubed
  • 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Whole Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Ginger (optional, for a little zing)
  • Ice Cubes (optional, to taste)

DIRECTIONS

Step 1

Cut your cantaloupe in half, scoop out the seeds, and remove the rind. Then, chop the flesh into roughly 1-inch cubes. (approximately 1/2 medium cantaloupe)

Step 2

Add the cantaloupe cubes, yogurt, milk, honey, ginger (if using) to a high speed blender.

Step 3

Add a few ice cubes to the blender. Start with a small amount and add more until you achieve your desired thickness.

Step 4

Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.  This should take about 30-60 seconds, depending on your blender.

Step 5

Give your smoothie a taste. If it’s not sweet enough for your liking, add a little more honey or maple syrup. If it’s too thick, add a splash more milk.

Step 6

Pour smoothie mixture evenly into glasses, and top with a sprig of mint. Enjoy!

VARIATIONS:

EXTRA FROSTY: Freeze your cantaloupe cubes for at least an hour before blending.
ADD A BOOST: Supercharge your smoothie with a tablespoon of chia seeds, flax seeds, or protein powder.
TROPICAL MIX: A little banana, mango, or pineapple can add a tropical twist.
GREENS: Sneak in a handful of spinach or kale for an extra dose of nutrients.
