Infused with garlic and a blend of cheeses, this savory treat pairs perfectly with crispy homemade parmesan triangles, and is delights your palette with rich flavors and a delightful crunch in every bite.

FOR THE DIP:

  • 1 cups Fresh Artichokes, cleaned and chipped (or 1 can of Artichoke Hearts, drained)
  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

FOR THE CHIPS:

  • 4 large Pita Breads
  • 1/4 cup Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • Salt, to taste

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC).

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.

Step 3

Stir in the chopped artichokes, spinach, minced garlic,lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix until well combined.

Step 4

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5

Pour the mixture into a baking dish and spread it evenly. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden brown on top.

Step 7

While the dip is baking, prepare the pita triangles. Cut each pita bread into 8 wedges. 

Step 8

In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, and salt.

Step 9

Brush each pita wedge with the olive oil mixture, making sure to coat both sides.

Step 10

Arrange the wedges on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

Step 11

Once the dip is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve alongside the crispy Parmesan pita triangles for dipping. Enjoy!
